STRUCTURE of UPHF

The Université Polytechnique Hauts de France (UPHF) is made up of 3 Institutes :

The “Institute National des Science Appliquées” (INSA), the “Institute of Societies and Humanities” (ISH) and the “Institute Universitaire Technologique” (IUT). Each Institute offers many different majors with different types of degrees.

This bachelor in International Business, Sales and Purchasing is part of the IUT.

The Université Polytechnique Hauts de France consists of 5 campuses spread in and around Valenciennes: Des Tertiales Campus, Mont Houy Campus, Cambrai Campus, Maubeuge Campus and Arenberg Campus.

The principal campuses are the campus Mont Houy and the campus Des Tertiales. The ladder is located near the city center and is where all classes for this degree will be taught. 

The Tertiales building provides classrooms, amphitheatres, bathroom facilities, a canteen, a nurse’s office as well as the secretaries’ offices and (if needed) an elevator. 

Within walking distance of the main building you will also find the campus’ library and the very affordable student restaurant.

Learn about Moodle & ENT

Moodle and ENT are the operational systems used by UPHF. Here you will find your University email, your timetable and more. Trough Moodle you will also be able to access course work uploaded by professors. The access information will be given to you in the beginning of the semester.

The grading system

The French grading system is based on a max of 20 points. 10 is the average you will have to achieve in orderto pass a class. To find the conversion to your home countries grading system you shuld ask your home university for an offical conversion table as it differs from university to university.
